Oklahoma – Looks to Bounce Back

Forecast: Sandwiched between Kansas and Texas, Oklahoma and the southern Great Plains remains the last vestige of what modern hunters would call exceptional quail hunting. Last season didn't quite live up to expectations, and a cold, snowy and icy winter didn't help matters, but good nesting conditions over the spring and summer have bobwhite numbers back on the upswing.
