This third annual trial will feature the great bird dogs from all over the country. Held according to National Shoot to Retrieve (NSTRA) Field Trial rules and utilizing NSTRA trained and certified judges, this event will reward dogs who point with intensity, retrieve with class, work hard to find the birds, listen to the handler and work with him/her, and honor another dog's point. Open to any pointing breed dog registered with FDSB, AKC, CKC or NSTRA, and members in good standing with NSTRA and Quail Forever. This is as close to hunting as you can get and still compete with your dog! This format allows the weekend hunter/dog to run against any handler/dog in the country with no disadvantage.

4-Star Plantation in Carlton, GA is a first-class facility (large club house, RV facilities, showers and dining hall) with outstanding trial fields and natural quail cover and excellent vantage points from which to view the action. Placement (first, second, third, fourth) in this trial will earn points for the dog enabling him to achieve a NSTRA Champion title. You will also meet and make friends with men and women who share your love of hunting and bird dogs. Quail Forever and The National Shoot to Retrieve Field Trial Association have teamed up with sponsors Purina and Tritronics to make this an exciting, first-class event.
