Bootheel Bobwhites

This photo was taken in the 1920's in the Bootheel of Missouri, around Poplar Bluff. As you can tell from the picture, you could string up quite a few quail back in those days. The serious young man on the left is my grandfather, Raymond T. Langley. I don't know who the gentleman on the right of the photo is. I wish I could give you some more information on the picture, but my grandfather died in 1938 at the age of 36 so I never had the chance to meet... or hunt... with him. Thanks for the opportunity to share this photo with other QF members!
