Pheasants Forever, Ink
Stephen Biello, a Life Member with the Pennsylvania Pioneer Chapter of PF, continues to show his dedication to PF in unique - and permanent - ways.
Some of you may recall Biello, an avid sporting clays enthusiast and policeman from Philadelphia, made news for the PF rooster crown on his tooth.
Now, Biello has taken his PF passion to a new level with a PF tattoo on his leg. "It took me three years to find the one I wanted but here it is," Biello said, "I had it done in all one sitting, it took over five hours of work and the artist used five different size needles." The artist was Stevie Lang, who owns Moonlight tattooing, in Seaville, New Jersey.
Look at the tattoo, you'll also notice the Browning Buckmark in the sky above the pheasants. Biello entered the tattoo in the "Show us your Buckmark contest" at www.browning.com, where you can rate his and other Buckmark submissions. "I also have a Buckmark tattooth on the crown right across from my PF crown," Biello said, "I know, I know call me crazy!"
Biello proudly shows off the adornments wherever he goes. "I love to hunt pheasants and I believe in what PF stands for," he said, "Whether I'm in a social setting or at a sporting clays competition, PF is always there with me."
