In the Field: November 2008
Downing the Ante
Steve Ries, Native Performance Dog Food Field Specialist, bagged this nice antelope this October while hunting in Wyoming. It also turns out that word has spread fast through Wyoming about the effectiveness of the Native products. "At 2:30 AM one morning we were awoken by a black bear trying to get into our dog trailer wanting the Native dog food," Ries said, "It is hard to tell how far the animal traveled to get the opportunity to eat Native, but it looks like we are well accepted by bear as well as performance dogs!"
If you have story ideas, dog photos, pre-1980 hunting photos and requests for future On The Wing consideration, please send correspondence to ahauck@pheasantsforever.org.
