Bird Camp Diaries: April 2009

Bird Camp Diaries are nothing more than whimsical monthly musings. We hope you find them entertaining, and sometimes thought provoking.

Big League Conservation and a Major League Club

Great offers from Pheasants Forever and the Minnesota Twins

Here at Bird Camp, we anticipate baseball's Opening Day almost as much as the pheasant opener. Hope springs eternal for everyone's favorite team this time of year, even, I'm told, in Kansas City.

Bird Camp Diaries: April 2009 To celebrate the season's arrival, Pheasants Forever has teamed with the Official Major League Baseball Club of the Pheasant Range, the Minnesota Twins (I'm a Twins fan so I get to say that, but is it merely coincidence that Twins Territory and the Pheasant Range have a 100 percent crossover? I think not.) to support a big league conservation organization (that's us) and wildlife habitat.

Once league rivals, the reigning National League Wild Card Milwaukee Brewers make only one appearance in Minnesota this season, the Twins final season at the Metrodome, in May.

You can order your Border Battle Lower Reserved tickets in the Pheasants Forever section for the Friday, May 22nd game between the Twins and Brewers for just $33 per ticket! Pheasants Forever receives $10 towards our wildlife habitat conservation efforts with each ticket sold through this special offer. Or if you become a Pheasants Forever member ($30), purchase up to four (4) Border Battle Lower Reserved tickets at a reduced price - $10 off per ticket, for a total savings of up to $40!
