Arizona: Quail Festival Set for Saturday in Sonoita

Hunters, birding enthusiasts and anyone interested in learning more about quail are welcome to attend the inaugural Quail Festival on Saturday, December 9, in Sonoita.
 
Hosted by the Arizona Game and Fish Department and the Southern Arizona Quail Forever Chapter, the free event will be from 1-4 p.m. at Pioneer Hall at the Sonoita Fairgrounds, 3142 S. Highway 83, Sonoita, AZ, 85637. The festival will feature a quail cleaning station, raffle items, and hamburgers and hotdogs.
 
Join the Arizona Game and Fish Department along with representatives from the Southern Arizona Chapter of Quail Forever, North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association, Backcountry Hunters and Anglers, Southern Arizona German Shorthaired Pointer Club and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
