Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever Hire Kendall Hughson as Development Officer

Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever has hired Kendall Hughson to serve as a development officer based in Minnesota. In his new role, Hughson will be responsible for working in collaboration with the organization’s employee team, donors, members, volunteers, and partners to expand private, corporate, and public funding relationships benefiting upland habitat conservation. 

“We’re excited about the impact Kendall will have on our upland wildlife habitat conservation efforts as he furthers the organization’s relationship focused, donor-centric major gift cultivation strategy. Kendall’s experience building winning relationships and his passion for upland birds will serve him well in his new role.” said Jordan Martincich, Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever’s vice president of development. “Kendall is well positioned to help our donors make an impact through their philanthropic support of of The Habitat Organization.”

Building a stronger culture of philanthropy among Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever’s constituents is a top priority for the position, which includes but is not limited to: leadership gifts and major gifts, charitable bequests, corporate philanthropy, gifts of real estate and conservation easements, memberships and grant funding.
Hughson’s role will be closely tied to Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever’s strategic plan. Fundraising is a vital part of “The Habitat Organization,” increasingly so as we work to accelerate mission delivery outcomes benefitting the uplands. 

Raised on upland traditions in Minnesota and Iowa, Hughson joins his new team with a proven track record of success in sales and customer service. Prior to joining Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever, Hughson had a successful and tenured career with Minnesota United, including tremendous success building lasting relationships where he managed a portfolio of 800+ customers. This success generated sustained outcomes for Minnesota United and its fans.

Hughson resides in Bloomington, Minn. He spends his spare time upland hunting, fishing, playing frisbee golf, and enjoys spending time with friends and family.
