Deer Kandy is a great green browse mix for deer & turkeys that also creates an insect haven for pheasant and quail broods. An 8 lb bag plants 1 acre, and includes superior varieties of alfalfa, alsike, ladino, medium red clover and partridge pea, making this a very durable and long lasting green browse mix with great attraction for deer. Plant in very early spring, or in late summer or fall for best results. Best management is to mow your green browse/legume food plots in mid to late summer and allow re-growth for fall. Mow each year to maintain a long lasting stand!
